SPORTS BANQUET- Please read and fill out the Sports Banquet reservation that went home in Student Communication Folders today. Awards for 3rd-6th Grade Volleyball and Basketball Intramurals will be given at our StE Sports Banquet April 7th at 6:00pm in McKenna Hall!
PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM- *important date change* Pre 3, Pre 4, Kindergarten Program @ 8:30 am in the school gym is now May 13th.
SCHOOL MASS- We will not have Mass in the Church this week. We will have a Prayer Service in the Gym 4/2 at 8:15. Students must still be in uniform.
JAMES AGOSTINELLI MEMORIAL EASTER EGG HUNT- Please join us Sunday, April 6th in the Church Parking lot @ 2PM for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! All Children thru 6th Grade are invited to join us!
GRANDparents CLUB- We are excited to begin a new GRANDparents Club at St. Elizabeth! This special group will help keep grandparents connected to our school and give them opportunities to support special projects that benefit their grandchildren! A form went home in folders last week so we can collect their information to be in touch! Please return to office this week!
PARISH VERIFICATION- Catholic Families, Please join us in Mckenna Hall after 10:30 Mass on April 26th to meet with Father Raju and get your Parish Verification Signed.
JUKE JOINT PARADE- St. Elizabeth will be rollin’ with the Blues through the Juke Joint Parade on Friday, April 10th at 5:00pm. Bikes, Skates, Wagons, and Strollers are welcomed! Call the School office if you or your child would like to participate. Pre-3-2nd grade students must have a chaperone. Service hours will be given for student participation

TERRA NOVA TESTING- Grades 3-6 will have Terra Nova testing April 22nd-May 8th. All students are expected be present for all testing dates.
ARK- Grades 2-6 will have Assessment of Religious Knowledge April 1-10. All students are expected to be present for all testing dates.
FAMILY SERVICE HOURS- If you received a Family Service hour letter, please take the time to review your hours. You still have a few opportunities to complete your yearly 10 hours. Thank you so much for your continued support throughout the year!
StE’s GOT TALENT- If your child is wanting to participate in the Talent Show, don’t forget to turn in your permission slip by April 10th!
2026-2027 REGISTRATION- Registration for the 26-27 school year is open! Check your email for a link to your registration packet or follow the directions below. Register by April 15 to receive the discounted fee of $360. The fee increases to $400 on April 16. -Log in to your Family Portal account (www.factsmgt.com District code ses-ms) -Choose “Apply/Enroll” on the left side menu. -Choose “Reenrollment” for RETURNING STUDENTS. (Choose “Application” if you are registering a NEW STUDENT.) -Reminder if you choose the 12 MONTH PAYMENT PLAN, your payments must begin on June 5. Upon registration, If you are interested in applying for Grant and Aid for 2026-27 can click link below.

ACE SCHOLARSHIP- Please see the attached flyer for more information on how to qualify and apply for an ACE Scholarship for the 26-27 school year. The application deadline is April 15. If you have applied in the past and not received the scholarship, apply again. Awards are based on need and available funds.
FAITH FORMATION- We will not have Faith Formation tonight due to Holy Week.

Faith at Home
Why forty? Lent lasts forty days. The number forty shows up often in the Bible. Noah was on the ark during forty days of rain. Moses prayed on a mountain for forty days before receiving the Law. The Hebrews left Egypt and spent forty years in the desert. Elijah walked through the wilderness for forty days. Jesus fasted for forty days in the desert. These periods are always times of special testing or preparation. Even after the resurrection, Jesus stayed on earth for forty days before the Ascension.
