Christian Environment

St. Elizabeth Catholic School has a commitment to instill in its students faith, knowledge, morals and discipline that will help them to lead fulfilling lives. We strive to prepare your child for a fulfilling life of love and service to his or her family and community. Our staff and faculty work diligently to maintain a "Christian environment at all times" in our attitudes and actions. We keep Jesus at the forefront of each day and actively encourage a student's spiritual growth with:

  •     Weekly Mass
  •     Morning Devotional with Prayer
  •     Pledge of Allegiance
  •     Praying in the rotunda for Special Needs of Students
  •     Character Education

Character Education and Service to Others

Service to others is an integral part of the SECS curriculum, allowing students to love their neighbors as God commands. Our students give their time, prayer, material and monetary contributions to the shut-ins and elderly of St. Elizabeth Church, Holy Childhood Association Mission Program, and the Bishop Houck Endowment Fund. Each class also sponsors one service project to foster teamwork and benefit organizations like the C.A.R.E.S. Animal Shelter, Ronald McDonald House, and the Care Station Food Pantry.

“To show great love for God and our neighbor we need not do great things. It is how much we put in the doing that makes our offering something beautiful for God.” – Mother Teresa
